• Discuss measures that can help you prevent lymphedema, and how they work.
• Learn signs and symptoms of lymphedema, so that you can take action early.
• Take baseline measurements, so you have an objective way to monitor changes over time.
• Bypass the Lymphedema Intake step if you ever need CDT or MLD.

Lymphedema Intake

• Detailed, lymphedema-specific intake to inform appropriate treatment. Please bring relevant medical records and diagnosis.
• Initial measurements and documentation.
• Discuss steps for managing lymphedema, including appropriate skin care, nutrition, and physical activities.
• Learn signs of progression or complications in lymphedema.
• Manual Lymph Drainage (if appropriate and indicated).
• Compression wrapping or garment fitting, as appropriate.

Lymphedema Follow-Up

• Review how the care plan is working, and changes in health since prior visit.
• Progress measurements and documentation.
• Review lymphedema management steps, and learn self-MLD.
• Manual Lymph Drainage (if appropriate and indicated).
• Compression wrapping or garment fitting/check, as appropriate.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

• Appropriate if you have an existing lymphedema diagnosis and care plan, and need ongoing MLD as part of that plan.**
• Brief intake and review of diagnosis, care plan, symptoms, and how progress will be shared with the diagnosing physician.
• 45-minutes MLD

**If you would like MLD for general health purposes, and not for lymphedema, please schedule a regular massage appointment.

Massage Gift Card

Oncology Massage Donation

Choose an amount to donate.

• Donations are used to offset the price of a sliding scale visit, for people who need extra assistance to access massage care.
• Donations are separately accounted for, and patient receiving care through donations remain anonymous.

*Clients who are newly diagnosed with cancer or in active cancer treatment may pay at a sliding scale (30% discount) for massage services. You do not need to document your situation or your need. Still, please make this request only as you and your family need, to allow us to care for those who are in the most financial need. Note that lymphedema services are already discounted for all clients.
